Want a lesson in Law of Attraction? Tune into Richard Bach’s interview on Open Book with Diana Page Jordan. Richard told me that hypnotism is Law of Attraction on a supercharger. If you missed the live 1pm show today, go anytime to the website PDX.FM and listen to Richard’s show or any show, for that matter.
Richard was playful — with ideas, in our conversation about his newest book Hypnotizing Maria. Faced with the childhood death of his older brother, Richard turned to hypnotism and stage magic, embracing boundless secrets that he encountered. Richard told me that instead of declaring ourselves to be mortal, we should declare here and now we are each a reflection of incandescent light. And then, fun, startling events that we perceive to be coincidences occur.
He says there’s more to living that meets our mortal eye. He postures that there are likely other worlds. I wonder, sometimes, what my life would have been like if my mother hadn’t deserted my real father when I was in kindergarten, for the pedophile who became my stepfather, and I grew up in my grandparents’ Upper West Side New York apartment with my real parents, instead of in the Jersey suburbs. And, because I then would have had confidence — instead of the lack — I would have gone to excellent schools, and returned to the city after graduation to work at NBC or CBS or ABC. I wonder. But, I have the twin thought, the evil I lived in challenged me to find the light, to seek out teachers, to interview, to clamor for the Truth, to have heightened intuition and compassion for others. Richard asks what if we can leapfrog between these worlds what if we can change the past or the future…?
Richard asks questions that tickle and provoke and entice, and ultimately stir up power and enlightenment and great passion for a life without limits. Listen in, and let me know what you think!

Thank you so much, both for the interview and your own reflections in this post. It’s always a joy to hear Richard, and this was a great interview. I only wish I was better at imagining things as I wish them to be. I also hope the book arrives soon!
